Orlando 2011

The week after school ended all of the JBG's headed down to Orlando to vacation and celebrate the sealing of Jake and Lanie.

We flew down with James and Amelia and kids. JetBlue rocks. We must have looked ridic. as we walked through the airport because everyone was looking/STARING and one girl even wanted to shake our hands after we made it through security without losing any kids or tempers. We brought the carseat for Joshua. BEST.DECISION.EVER.

He didn't make a peep.

The family seems to keep multiplying at lightning speed so we rented 2 houses directly beside eachother. It was great to be so close together but it also caused some serious confusion for little people who would try to go to the "other" house and get seriously lost. Opps. Luckily all the children are accounted for and safe.

The majority of our time was spent in the pool or sitting around talking/chasing kids.

It was so fun to all be together. I love that even though we don't all get to see eachother more than once a year, our children seem to pick up right where they left off on our last vacation. The adults as well. I'm so grateful for my sister inlaws. I love them each so much.

We made ribbon flipflops and friendship bracelets with the girls. Took the kids to Disney to pick out 1 thing. It was hysterical to see 15 of us get on one of the water taxis to to go the other side of Downtown Disney. The stares were so funny.

I loved seeing the boys together, whacking eachother with noodles, playing Legos Star Wars, trains, watching movies or playing on the ipad. They were so cute at the park running and jumping all over the place. They are so different from the girls. I love it.

I fell in love with Elisabeth. I now refer to her as Stella because she is a 50yr old in a 2yr old body. The things that come out of her mouth are so funny. Like pee your pants funny.

Ashley was baptized and I loved being there with her on her special day. She is such a sweet girl. Abigail thinks that Ashley walks on water. I loved that Abbey was able to see Ashley make a great decision in choosing to be baptized. And maybe now Abbey won't be scared when it's her turn. She is very concerned about it. HA.

Lots of sweet little ones were blessed. I can't wait for our littlest guy to make it here so he can be blessed in the circle with his Father, grandfather and Uncles. They are such good men and great examples.

It was wonderful for all of us to be together in the temple with Jake and Lanie as they were sealed. As we were sitting there waiting for the ceremony to start I was thinking about the sweet little Jake that I first met when he was 8 and how wonderful it was to be in the temple with him and his sweet Lanie. I am excited for the day that Charie will be able to be there with us, too. I just hope she waits till she's done with school because she is going to be a fabulous nurse.

After most everyone else had gone home (boooo) Amelia and I decided to take our kids to the Orlando Science Center for the afternoon. The kids had a great time running all over. We met up with Amelia's parents and the kids almost convinced Amelia's Mom to get in the hurricane tunnel! ;)

We made our way home and started our 1st session of swimming lessons. And now we are preparing for Abbey's 6th birthday and more swimming lessons. We joined the pool and it's been the best decision ever. Our kids are swimming all over the place and enjoying being outside. And I don't care what I look like in a bathing suit because I'm pregnant. BONUS.
