Going for a Sunday stroll

Tonight after Jackson woke up from his nap we took a nice stroll around the area. This was Jack's 1st stroll out of his carseat. He is simply too big to be in his little infant carrier so he will be moving to his BIG BOY seat this week.

Abbey had a blast in nursery today, after a diaper change she happily ran back to the nursery and never looked back. :) Jake is the love of her life, she would prefer to hug him over me.

Joseph is getting ready for finals and doing the other 3 *full-time* side jobs he has acquired.

I am busy trying to keep everyone fed, make sure that everyone has clean underwear and occassionally I take a shower. :)

Happy 3 months to my little BIG man

You sure are cute, all 17.5lbs of you. In honor of his 3 month birthday, he took a trip to Costco, had some milk, some more milk from Dad in a bottle, spent the night hanging out with Dad while Mom went out with the girls and he was given lots of hugs and kisses.

We love you big guy!!

Weekly Wrap Up (a day late)

This week was very low-key. We enjoyed Easter. We had some great friends over for dinner. I cooked dinner EVERY single night except for Friday because Friday is my day off. Here at the JoGilles household we are gearing up for "No Buy Month" so I am cooking every night to find new recipes because I'm sure Jake and Joseph are going to get tired of tacos, pancakes, mock lasagna etc. I went to a friends house to have a playdate and to learn about homeschooling. Upon leaving the informal information session I came to the conclusion that I am not homeschooling for the sake of my children and myself. We bought a new camera which I am in love with. I take pictures of everything now. We (aka I) managed to take 85 pictures yesterday afternoon. Abbey had her 1st haircut. Jack sucks his thumb, much to the delight of his mamma. Joseph was asked to speak in church on top of the other 25 things he already has to do. Oh and Abbey went stink on the toilet. Yes that is right folks, she actually did it. We are not potty training, I am not ready. Obviously she is. *sigh*

Weekly Recap

Nana G* and Auntie C* left on Monday. It was so much fun having them here. My (Heather's) dining room table was refinished and Abbey's big girl furniture was painted and is almost ready to go. Nana G* is the best. We miss you Nana and can't wait to see you soon. We went to see the Cherry Blossoms on Sunday. Jackson had his 2 month shots on Tuesday and took them like a champ, good thing he is so fat. Wednesday we had lunch at a friends house. Thursday we ran errands for our Easter Egg party on Friday. Yesterday we had some friends over to dye Easter eggs and have an Easter egg hunt. Jackson slept the whole time, so I got to enjoy having my friends over. It was so fun. Abbey took the longest nap of her life. We had to wake her at almost 6pm she was so worn out. We out to Olive Garden for dinner and then we promptly returned home and put the babes to bed. Whew!! What a week!
Tomorrow is Sunday everyone got a new outfit for church so we will take some pics tomorrow and we pick up Uncle Geek at 2pm and then have some friends over for an Easter dinner. I will post the recipe for the Jerk Chicken Salad we are having, it is DELISH.
